I suggest everyone gets tissues and a bottle or 2 of antibacterial gel to wipe down phones, keyboards, desks 2 or 3 times a day. Viruses are persistent little critters - wash you hands after you sneeze or cough, wipe down surfaces and phones often. From past epidemics, virologists are saying that there should typically be 2 more swine flu epidemics - each being slightly worse than the previous.

The CDC also recommends coughing into the elbow as a method of preventing the spread of germs. My daughter learned this great program at pre-school called Germy Wormy Germ Smart. It teaches kids to do this and more, and to understand how germs spread and how to NOT spread them. It was so much fun for her, and amazing how quickly the kids learned healthier hygiene habits!
