Sat. 6.30am. Pouring rain and long umbrella queues outside the portaloos... 7am. Elite riders (def not me) start on the gun. By 7.30am another 880 riders have started tearing up the already muddy and waterlogged track. What joy. Hit a tree 10km in after going blind down a muddy track. Ok - so some how a conversation between Mark and Brian turned into a $50 bet to see who could go the longest without getting their haircut - last man standing to win all.
With all of us being so competitive, I came along and for some unknown reason uttered the words - "make it $100 and Im in" - thinking they'd leave me out... oh well - that $300 is looking good so far...

A study by Oxford showed increased growth of nerve cells connections in the white matter of the brain after a 6 week juggling training course – and the connections remained after the juggling course had stopped.
It didn’t matter how good or bad a juggler you were – the brain just seemed to want to be puzzled and learn something new. Go buy some balls...
